How a site goes from first call to launch.
Most small business sites take two to four weeks. You always know what stage we're at, what I need from you, and what it costs.
- 01Day 1
Discovery call
We talk for 20 minutes about your business, who your customers are, and what you want people to do when they land on your site: call, book, visit, or order.
You bringYour business name, a rough idea of pages, and any sites you like the look of. - 02Days 2–3
Plan and quote
I send a one-page plan: the list of pages, what goes on each, and a fixed price. No hourly surprises.
You bringA yes or a list of changes. - 03Week 1
Content
You send your logo, photos, opening hours, prices, and the words you want on the page. If writing isn't your thing, I'll draft it and you edit.
You bringPhotos and text. Phone photos are fine. - 04Week 2
Design, phone first
I design how it looks on a phone first, because that's where most of your customers will see it, then scale it up for tablets and desktops.
You getA private preview link you can open on your own phone. - 05Weeks 2–3
Build and review
I build the real site in clean code and test it on different phones and browsers. You get two rounds of changes included.
You bringFeedback. Be picky, it's your site. - 06Launch day
Launch and handover
I connect your domain, switch on HTTPS, set up your contact form, and check everything works. Then I hand over a short document with every login and how it all fits together.
You getA live site and the keys to all of it. - 07After launch
Care plan (optional)
For a small monthly fee I host the site, keep backups, watch for problems, and make small updates like new hours, prices, or photos when you email me.
You getOne person to email instead of a support queue.
You own it either way
What you always get
- Your domain registered in your name
- A copy of every file that makes up the site
- A handover sheet with each login and what it's for
- The option to move to another developer any time
What the care plan adds
- Hosting and HTTPS kept running
- Monthly backups and uptime checks
- Small content changes when you ask
- Help if anything breaks, without an hourly bill
Tell me about your business
Send a short note about what you do and what you need. I reply within one business day, and the first call is free.
I'm finishing a degree in cybersecurity, so the sites I build are secure from the start instead of patched later.
